BECOME A HELPING HAND
Our Parish Community Outreach Ministry is about giving, contributing, and helping those who cannot help themselves. We strive to provide physical, spiritual, and emotional support to those less fortunate.
In accordance with our parish mission statement, our parish acknowledges that we must reach out to the community to minister and serve others. we strive to provide physical, spiritual, and emotional support by networking together, sharing our gifts of time, treasure, and talent to those less fortunate.
Upcoming Outreach Events:
We've partnered with the County to receive a list which contains the gender, age and Christmas wish list of local children in need. Tags are made up with this information, and placed on the Angel Christmas Tree for anyone to pick and purchase the items. The tag and items are then returned back to the church, and are then delivered the items to the children. Due to Covid-19, the tree will be set up in the Tolman House.
Pick up/Drop off times are: Monday – Friday 9:30am – 1:30pm, December 2nd, 9th and 16th from 5pm – 8pm, or by appointment.
Our Food Pantry provides nourishment to those are experiencing physical hunger. Emergency Food is shared with love and respect to those who come for assistance It is our intention that they receive not only food for their physical hunger, but generous portions of kindness and grace to feed their spiritual and emotional hungers.
SPIRITUAL & EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
The Outreach Ministry provides referrals and workshops to assist and educate those in need of Spiritual and Emotional Support. Trained professionals are energetic to share their knowledge to educate and counsel those in need of assistance either in a private setting or during a workshop. Some examples include: Spiritual Guidance, Psychological Counseling, General Health Guidance, and Budgeting.
